Divergence by wanny

Divergence

Alan always a great & well thought out critique, thanks for you vote. John I think we often take our photo's anyway rather than leave with nothing. I always want to have a look at the shot back at home to see if I'm wasting my time or in this case decide how to improve the shot. As you will see by the date of the shot it was a couple of years ago in the Manors multi-story car park but I remember worrying at the time that when I came to leave I would find I was locked in. It was a difficult shot to take in that using a wide angle lens I had to cantilever my tripod right out over the wall to avoid half the shot being taken up by the car park wall.
This car park give a great view all around the city as I'm sure lots of local photographers are aware of.

- beautiful dawn -

There's times Tim I don't know what the hell your talking about........but I do like your work. A beautiful girl but it's very difficult to take great photographs especially at weddings when everyone is milling about looking for the Pimms.

Tynemouth Pier by wanny

Tynemouth Pier

Thanks to all who have voted & commented on my photo. Thanks to Zoran for his award. It always gives me great pleasure in looking at the portfolios of those who have voted. I suppose I'm looking to see if there's an empathy in styles to what I like. Usually I'm completely wrong in this assumption.....& long may this continue.

Sunsets On The Forth by BrianSutherland

Sunsets On The Forth

Good image. The sky is everything. In early June I stood in a position directly diagonal on the other side of the Forth to catch the sunrise. The sky then was clear blue & flat. Timing is everything.....well done.

Better late than never

Great shot Michaela. My local Bluebell woods have a very thin covering of flowers. I'll just have to keep looking.

2 Red Ribs by almiles

2 Red Ribs

A very nice long exposure shot. Judging by the clouds there does seem to be some air movement about so bringing the ribs into the foreground may cause some blurring if they were to swing about. I think they're fine where they are.

A lovely shot. I'm going up to skye in November & the Quiraing will certainly be on my list of locations to visit. Well done.
