Yes I agree great colour and background noise works well to add a gritty feel to counter the soft smooth tones of the water... but where's the penguin???

fab shot. tried similar at kitchen sink with flash, but the detail in yours is great

Nah but seriously I like the idea and the execution of the image. Just something not right about the background colour/contrast for me. Have tried to modify it to get across what I wanted describe see here

Basicaly just saturated the red a bit and used curves to make it have more contrast.
Hope you aren't vexed with me !?

Good shot, just the right shutter speed to leave some movement without too much blur. Very well lit and exposed.
