I will no doubt be criticised for picking this for an Ec, but I think it's fantastic. Very original - oddly framed, superb cold mono tone and just an all round unbalanced pic that I had to keep looking at.

It gets my vote too, along with the other one (crying man). The composition, tones, the model's expression, and originality all work together to make this a great image. Congrats on the EC!

It's a great pic, right down to the shadows of the bubbles! Although the model doesn't look to refreshed! Well done on the EC award...

Anyone insane enough to test if their camera is waterproof has my vote! Seriously, though, i like the way the droplets seem crystalised. Congrats on the EC!

Just goes to show you can achieve an award winning photo in the unlikeliest of places, and with your eyes closed too! I'm off to the bog to see what I can create ;-D.
Congrats Danny!

you will get no criticism from me either!!

wow! from the quality of the rest of the photos in the EC i thought it would be sometime and something i would have to work hard for before getting one chosen, i didnt expect to get one so soon! positive feedback was more than enough of a reward, but this is great.

best of luck marlin :o)

thanks, a very very happy warb

Warb - fantastic! Did you hold the camera out at arm's length and take yourself? Whatever - this is a terrific experiment which works! What does it for me mostly is the complete surprise of it .. off the wall, mad, who-cares-let's-see-if-this-works ... fab!!

What I can't work out (although not sure I need to) is what's what - are you under water in the sink and those tiles are the bathroom wall? don't answer that - maybe I don't want to know ..lol

Ah, so that's how it was done. I thought it must have been taken underwater, but now you've explained it I think it's even more origional. Great picture, great idea and excellent toning.
