I don`t know what I am,but I`m not as big as a wasp....anyone any ideas what this insect may be..?

its a Hoverfly but I can't tell you what species from this angle. Excellent work considering how you have shot it but with the bare macro lens + ringflash you would be able to capture the reticulations of the eye in fine detail, the attached close-up lens gets you closer but loses you quality
