About Me
Photography has always been in my life, next to my interest in art, mixed media and textiles. I have worked with a Canon 1000Fn for 10 years, creating loads of snapshots and OOF pictures of the kids growing up...
When I got a macro lens, flowers became one of my favorite objects. I love the way that you can zoom in so closely on the petals and by moving a few millimetres the composition changes completely. Sometimes I even have to remind myself to keep breathing!
Going digital with the Canon 300D (thanks to my dad) has made life so much easier for me. Now I am able to alter my images so that they are adjusted to my point of view, or the image that I have visioned, instead of what is just in front of my lens. So in that sense I might be more of a photostyler than a photographer.
Besides photographing flowers, I like digital collages. Merging different photographs to create a new image conveying dreams, mood and different sentences.
Lately I have also set out to try landscape photograpy.
On EPZ I hope to learn from your comments!
