Every year when my husband asks were we should go for our holiday, I always say that I like to be close to the sea with a beach of pebbles or rocks.

Ths was one of the beaches we went to when we were in Norfolk. As you can see, the sea was so quiet and smooth, there were almost no waves.
In the sky big clouds were gathering, while leaving just a tiny gap to see some of the colours of the sunset. I just sat there on the pebbles, taking a picture so now and then, handheld. No tripod, no filters. Simple photography.

It is not a impressive landscape (or seascape), just a reminder of a quiet evening at a quiet beach, a moment when you notice how the calmth of the scene is so relaxing that you could easily sit there for hours.
If you had the chance...

Just lovely, great fg detail with the pebbles almost tumbling into the viewfinder.

Thanks for the comments. And thanks to John for the mod. What a clever idea to colour these pebbles in the colours of the sky.

I disagree, it is an impressive land/seascape,I really like the composition, you have handled it really well.
