When putting my Fuji away after visiting Shildon Railway Museum, I accidentally pressed the shutter button. This image resulted. One for Shadow Saturday.

The Mallard and five other A4 locos were on display, the last time they will ever be together.

Very Jack. Thousands of people turn up to photograph trains, you photograph your shadow...
I'm surprised that there was room for it, given what I have heard about the crowds!
(We gave up on the idea yesterday and went to Beamish instead...)

The snap may have been accidental but the pose was deliberate Smile
We saw the A4s all together on their previous meeting - in York last summer. The main NRM is better adapted to absorbing enormous crowds.
