Had a lesson today in just how difficult it is to get a sharp hand-held macro shot of a butterfly with the focus just where you want it.

In the end patience and persistence paid off, and I hope you think I did a reasonable job...this was one of my best attempts - many more shots were binned!

Excellently done, Elaine - as you say, difficult to get the right part of the subject in focus in macro work, moving just a fraction of an inch backwards or forwards and it's gone! Sad
