This boat repair yard was full of casualties being made ready for sea again (hopefully).
We passed by it regularly and these three boats always caught my eye. I thought that if I isolated them from the rest it would make a nice image. I waited, and watched each time we passed by as I hoped to see some workers mending the boats, climbing up the ladders etc...........but it wasn't to be.
On the last day of our holiday I realised that I wasn't going to be "in the right place, at the right time", but I took the shot anyway.
I couldn't get a better angle to shoot the three boats. They were behind a fence and this was the best I could get.
I think it's quite a sad scene, but feel also that there's an element of hope that the boats will be restored to their former glory and made seaworthy again!
