I went into the forest looking for wild flowers to photograph and emerged with this shot of a resting Mallard duck.

I lay down on my front and wriggled towards him...I knew my trousers and coat were getting minging dirty, but I so wanted this shot and therefore didn't care!!

The dirty coat and trousers are in the washer just now....the muck will disappear, but not the memories of a wonderful weekend spent surrounded by the flora, fauna and wildlife of Whinfell Forest Grin
