A shot of The Sound on the Isle of Man.

I thought this scene would be a good opportunity for me to try producing a panoramic image.

I took 10 overlapping images with my camera set on Manual mode to ensure consistent exposure. I took the images on portrait mode and had my camera on a tripod, then merged the shots in Elements 10.

I'd appreciate any critique, in particular could I have done anything different.

Method looks fine to me, ( I also use PSE10 ) though I'll be honest and say that as an image this one doesn't set me alight......but I've been poking about in your PF Blush and I can see you've a really good eye for a picture... many very tasty things in there! SmileSmile

Hi Elaine, for me nice enough photo, but I believe the shot should have been the island/fishing boat, have uploaded a mod to show you what I mean.

The foreground takes center stage, when maybe the shot might have been around the area of the Lighthouse and Fishing Boat??
