Amazing Lee, i think this is your best yet owl photo not that im an expert i just know what i like lol
Not sure what anyone else has said, but looks a tad on the red/magenta side on the colouring of the owl.
Normally this post works quite well, so it's not your fault that the bird decided to squish itself down out of the wind.
You've executed the background well. Possibly more distracting at the smaller size, but I'd be tempted to crop the slightly darker very upper portion of the frame as it drags the eye to the top where there is nothing to see.
Probably are other things I coud say, but it's been a long day!
However, I like it enough to click 
great shot, better than the prev one and that was nice too, not that fussed about the out of focus bit or the "dark part" at the top as my attention is drawn to the eyes, framings good, how did you do it in the end?? the only things id say would be the left hand side looks a little bare, so maybe a crop to reduce the empty space and in your settings , would look better with a darker epz frame as oposed to the white one in your upload settings, you can change that after you uploaded, ive done it a few times, other than that . nice colours and good contrast and sharpness. heres your RC , G
