Hi Valery

Thank you for your comment. Bright eyed can have a few meanings one being slang usually with a bushy tail Wink or it can mean very much awake, full of energy, and in a good mood. I think it is also a song but not sure who sings it?

I was going to ask whether he was bushy tailed as well Wendy Smile Although not something you could tag a Pheasant as being as they never seem full of energy. Lovely close up capture though Smile

They are often seen bright eyed around here, possibly because they are running down the side of the marsh roads, trying to get away/outrun the cars ... What did you say to embarrass the poor thing Tongue
