A bridge in the heart of Valletta from the British-Era Malta.

On the side of the metalwork it reads: 'WESTWOOD, BAILLIE & Co. LONDON' -

Would anyone over here know if the company still operates?

Regards and have a great day my friends.

Baille was a great Engineer, he was commissioned to design and build mobile bridges for the Army. Those bridges are still in use today GrinGrinGrin

Hey mate, yes it is Wink

And I have a few more shots of the area which hopefully will get to upload in the coming days.

The bridge is quite photogenic and was recently used in a short movie a few years back. .303

As a company it looks like they were declared bankrupt in 1895 but some reformed as other companies. They made them to last in those days.
