Managed to get my first trip onto Skomer Island, at the second attempt - On the first attempt we were turned away because the northerly wind was making it impossible to land on Skomer.
Thanks to Tom & Andrew for a brilliant first day on Skomer.

Nice one Phil.
Only crit of this is you could try and pull some of the detail out of the black areas and also a lower view point of the Puffin would have been better than looking down on him. Try in future to get eye level to them and it will make a far better shot.
Sunburnt and hurting today though.Ouch.

This was one of the few puffins that didn't bolt straight into its burrow when it returned with the sand eels - I'm just pleased to have got a shot of a puffin with sand eels in its beak
