Like#2 better. #1 seems over the top - unreal. It will make a much stronger image if building blocks in #2 has the detail, sharpness and contrast of those in #1. Love the composition BTW.

You lose the good sky in V2, but get a much more real photo, Red. I like the imagery of V2 very much.

V1 is a definite improvement on the lack lustre original.
With a better sky in the original and more contrast, the potential was there
as it is well composed with good lead in, but your processing has given the image real punch.
