The last of the set.
Excellent composition and tonal range.
First Class Alan.
Nice lighting and textures.
another very fine and sedate creation.. gives a sense of a long, long journey, now perfectly frozen in time.. we travel in time to reach this 'very still' point.. and the whole of the series says, 'things always keep waiting for someone'.. they want the world to know that they are still alive, not perfectly abandoned.. the image is so alive that i feel a presence here.. perhaps that grass adds a sense of life in it, and it is a wonderful addition..
light + composition perfect.. dof too.. the image preserves everything nicely and yet the eyes can feel they can differentiate every inch of travel through the space.. it is so immaculately 3D.. and brings one right there and makes him / her see not through the camera but his / her own eyes..
wow.. one of the best, if not the best.
A stunning com position captured from a great point of view allowing the light to flood in and provide you with the necessary illumination in which to capture the shot. Superb tonal range, and so very well presented Alan.
It tells a story doesn't it? Of times past and lost glory. Something that use to be a hub of activity but now sits abandoned. Well done.
For me, the best one so far in this set, really well observed image.
My favourite from the three. The tonal range, abstract qualities and the composition are all superb. The reversed L shape and it's smaller counterpart facing it in the foreground was very well spotted as well.
Another excellent mono image Alan, I am really enjoying your series so far
Nice moody picture !

Yes L, this one's all about Ls. Thought I'd give the triangles a rest
Moira's lost for words. First time ever.
Higgeldy piggledy - love it!
There is such a rough beauty here. I like the plant growing through the boards, Mother Nature can't be stopped.
came back to it.. very, very alive and breathing with lives.. so well that i start missing them..
Used to play in places like this as a kid..... nostalgia definitely making a comeback!

Clearly Alan still does
An excellent series, Alan!
Those walls could tell so many interesting stories.
The good old days - probably not!!
the pick of the three for me Alan, melancholic and moody, full of loss. superb matey
The arrangement of shapes and the handling of light and tone is extremely well done Alan.
Excellent composition and beautiful light Alan. Very good B&W conversion too.
The light is positively sparkling Alan.
