Thank you, all who voted for 'plantation,' and to Charlotte for her UA, which is greatly appreciated.

The dog shown here is a Border Collie, and for anyone unfamiliar with sheepdog lore, the command "Away to me" is used to tell the dog to move in an anticlockwise direction. In other words, round to the left. Although in some areas it means the opposite!!

Stunning mono once again Alan.
Shadows, shapes zig-zags with the added human touch.
What a great expression - sounds Irish!

Well they both seem to understand the command this time Alan.
The signs kinda help too.

Just follow the shadow lines, that's all the navigation you need.

Love the composition and the shadows. The dog is merely querying the road signs Smile

Now, this one really appeals to me. The busy patterns, the vertical of the lampost with the curve of the road, all those patterns and then, to top it all, the graphic image of the dog on the sign in the foreground echoing the real thing.

You could have had some fun commanding the collie to get the lead all tangled up in her legs...Grin

Almost abstract in nature with those interlocking curves and shadows. Nice touch catching the dog on the poster too, did you whistle for him to turn round??? Cracking shot matey, love the grain in the image too.

Wonderful composition with all those direction signs Alan. The dog looks a bit confused by them; maybe he's from an area where they go clockwise Wink
The small sticker on the lamppost works really well.

Absolutely perfect to me. It is a wonderful composition, with great contrast and tones.
I love it!
