Throwback! This looks like something from the day. Love how the mist shrouds the castle.

Excellent image, Alan. Very atmospheric and a timeless quality, the grainy presentation suits it perfectly.

Sometimes Bamburgh Castle looks best shrouded in mist Blush
Rarely photographed in close-up, this would be hard for most people to identify at a glance without the title as a guide. All the better: a photographer's shot for the discerning and historically aware. Love the figure, which is all that suggests 'not the nineteenth century'. Much appreciated.
Regards
Bill

Oh dear, all those people in their expensive apartments won't have a view today.
My idea of a real beach. Takes me there.
You know Polanski filmed the opening scenes of Macbeth on the sand here, the battle and first appearance of the weird sisters?

Sympathetically colour toned.. Very atmospheric & like the inclusion of the " historic" figure in the f/g.

Another misty and moody image, bleak and unwelcoming. Expertly captured and processed, the tones adding to the oppressive feeling of the image... Nice one Alan.

Splendid image Alan, the flag on the top of the frame is fantastic.
Awesome processing. I appreciate so much looking at Polanski's film now that I am tempted to see them all again (thanks to youtube).
