A really strong composition Alan. Love the meandering lead through and the way that the clumps of seaweed and rocks punctuate and add balance to the scene. You have a nice spread of tones despite the high contrast as well.

Excellent composition with the dark water meandering up to the rock at the top. A lovely study of light, good tonal range.

Interesting as well as beautiful. You've made a feature of that more distant rock - that's brave and bold. I'm imagining the composition without it - so a slice off the right side too, or alternatively a bit of stretching... It would be different, not sure if I'd prefer it...

A lot to see in this Alan. In my eye I see a river flowing through an icy wilderness with floes runnung through, and a forest in the f/g. Must be last nights wine. It is. hower, a lovely picture. One I like very much.
