How do you find such amazing compositions Alan - love your artist's frames also.
The dark shelf lifts this into another realm - stunning shapes.

I'd like this on my wall. Beautiful. It's astonishing how the black top really makes this.

Black sharks against a black sky (damn, Cliff's seen the sharks first). Now this is a sky that I like, dark and threatening.
The curve of water is elegant, relaxed. Then it hits that dark shaft This is about the border between reality and dreams, and the crossing over, for me.

PS Are the shark fins from the chunks of wartime concrete pillboxes that have tumbled down the shore here? If so double damn, I looked at them and couldn't see a composition.

This I do recognise as those concrete blockhouses. We walked past but close to (I was looking for details, I remember) but the composition was in the distance. And what a stunner for us to miss! Superb.

A work of art, Alan. This wonderful array of lights and textures could only be seen by a privileged eye.
Splendid composition. I am in complete awe of the curved stream of water that leads my eyes to that spectacularly bright horizon. The black sky is perfect.
