I can't remember ever seeing the saddleback with such clarity. The view from the car on the main road, albeit impressive, is too oblique; otherwise it always appears obscured by mist or worse.
The strong sky is pleasing; more so are the patches of light that pick out certain features, particularly the sinuous ridge rising towards the right peak of the saddle. Excellent b&w.

Dappled light especially in monochrome works wonders, the light on the right hand side is particularly special.
