Thanks for all those votes and very generous comments on "across the lake," and especially to the now very famous Charlotte for her UA, and to Mark for his GE Award.
Some lovely colour and a wonderful painterly impression.
Dream-like effect, fleeting, imprecise intensity.
Like going on a walkabout, with no goal, only feelings! Excellent!
Interesting interaction between the waving grasses and the clutching branches, almost surreal.
It's those grasses in the FG....I can't take my eyes from them. The movement and texture....this really is clever Alan and defiantly one of the best examples of ICM/multiple exposure work I've seen. Very special indeed....oh gawd, I feel another UA is heading your way.
Quote: Tripping .....
You been examining the "evidence" again, Dave?
I'm back to give you my UA - it's the sort of image I'd love to have taken! Brilliant....
Perfect in every sway..
Very special...... Like it a lot!
Excellent image, Alan; movement light and colour, nicely balanced.
It is the shroom season after all
Here you go you've done it again... two awards from Charlotte in two days, boy you must be doing something right... nice one matey
Wonderfully vibrant and beautifully done Alan.
Splendid work Alan, this is beautiful!
Yet another one to admire!! This consistently high standard is getting a bit tedious, lets have some mediocrity for a change!!
Amazing what a'longish' exposure and a good eye can produce.
