Beautiful but terrifyingly chilling. Looks like an instrument of torture especially with the drips on the wall.
Love the tonal quality which works so well in black and white. Although different to your usual images still very much an Alan.

Subtly film noir, shining a light upon the pulley wheel and producing a shadowy Doppelgänger.
Finely gradated tones to accompany the dark and mysterious surroundings.
