Love the effect especially on the fence.
Makes a change from the vertical blurs.
Thanks for doing mods again - I tried to darken that sky
but darned if you go an do it better!!!
I love the feeling of wind and the power of mother nature as she comes sweeping down the high street. Wonderful photography Alan.
Your a very good photographer Alan. Like what you've done.
is it about falling..read some russian novels (english translated) years ago in which it was always said like it.. 'he fell headlong...
Light being pulled into a black hole, excellent Alan

rushing forward, either with reckless haste or out of control.
Windswept railings! Makes me feel as if I'm skateboarding, something I often do, so down with the kids! Interesting to compare this urban version with your landscapes where you use the same technique. You've inspired me.
Yeah, can just see you whizzing by on your board, L
..is it a bird?...is it a plane?...
The whole town is being blown away by the wind. A comment on modern building standards.
Has to be colour, for that combination of sand, purple and deep blue on the right.
I couldn't even stand up on a skateboard.
There are times I can't even stand up
Newcastle often has this effect on people.

Reading one, the other occurred to me automatically
A darimng street scene.
Very artistic Alan a real sense of movement without loosing the image. I think the colours also add to this image as a dedicated B+W photographer this is one shot that really benefits from the addition of the colour.
Many thanks Eric, you Jewel of Caithness
Running from a pack of screaming admirers maybe?
Absolutely, Dougie, and you must know what that's like!
'tripping' again, Alan?
Looks like the tripod is tipping over
What's a "tripod" ???

Outstanding work again Alan ICM meets a bit of Street......excellent!
Very effective, great sense of movement.
You have certainly evoked a dreamlike or hallucinogenic appearance and mood Alan. I like the repeating sweeping pattern and the grainy processing.
Well... This image has managed to do something that 24 years in the RN didn't manage, motion sickness!!!! I guess its a testament to your skill, but it makes me feel dizzy. Nicely done sir!!!
