Thanks for all your votes and comments on 'Whitestone Cliff.'
This is number 1 in a series of 5, all involving some degree of "Intentional Camera Movement."
Or as Adam ( Sherlob ) very sensibly prefers to call it... "Deliberate Camera Movement."
Don't know how you do this Alan but you sure can make a painting from your ICM
images. Excellent work. Let's see some 'mare'!
My daughter would insist I buy this for her Alan.
Very cool. I like this idea of moving the camera. You do it really well.
Poetic imagery which makes one look twice...
Another triumph of ICM and processing Alan. I like the contrast between the field and the darkness of the background and the industrial feel of the background compared to the more pastoral foreground, nice balance and composition.
I see you have been awarded the DCM for this, Alan, and it is well deserved.
The intentional movement contributes materially to the contrast between the natural and the industrial.
This is great
A strange image, I am seeing ghostly Dark Satanic Mills looming above the pastoral idyll.
I will admit that looking at the thumbnail I thought for a moment that you had found an elephant on the Durham Moors.
The people who own those horses ( there are two ) don't have an elephant, but they used to have a Vietnamese Pot-Bellied Pig. It used to come to the fence to say hello to passers-by.
I too thought it was an elephant, but instead it is an einsteinian horse. Fantastic Alan.
Honestly, don't know about all this "elephant" malarkey...
Interesting image, very well done on the GEA front!
I also saw an elephant!! This really is amazing Alan. I wish it was mine.
You lot need your eyes tested.
this has a lot of spirit in it.. a well conceived image.. with a sense of movement as the horse grazes..
You are getting a dab hand at this ICM malarky Alan....Valda Baily and Chris Friel better watch out! Congrats on the GEA, well deserved.
Can't compete with those guys, Charlotte. They're just too good.
Congrats on the award... terrific work again old chap, love it!
