Thanks Darren. I always aim for simplicity where possible, it's often more effective. Smile

A masterful series of leaves, like the sq. format here. D'ew produce them on yor own? Si.

Excellent natural abstract, the raindrops adding appeal. Visually like sequins, as in "he sewed them on himself".
(Pathetic, I know, but not as bad as the telly).

Bill

The water droplets grab the eye, it's the lines and shapes that detain it. Particularly bottom left and top right, and that creates its own dynamic. But then the eye drops down gently to bottom right.
And all, of course, contained perfectly in the square. As in You Know It Makes Sense...

Cheers. It's depressing actually, I have a similar shot that I haven't uploaded yet, not sure that it adds anything new to this.
My main priority with alcohol is not writing on it, by the way.
Whispers quietly, actually it's hosta...

Overlapping interplay of light and shade gives a lovely depth...... and flowers never bend with the rainfall...

I don't recognise this as a hosta Alan; our hostas always have holes in the leaves Wink
Beautifully composed with lovely lines and tones.

Ours too.....this was a really enormous one though, with its upper leaves relatively unscathed. Thanks, Rende.

The Hosta leaves in themselves make interesting images full of patterns and textures, but the multiple raindrops bring another dimension to the shot.
Ronnie.
