Great tones and texture on this really well observed image, Alan. Once again, superb mono processing.

An image which immediately grabbed ones attention. At first I thought it was an X-Ray, then I thought it was a Fossil, however when I eventually took note of your title I recognised the form and structure of this stunning frozen abstract.

For me its the shape top centre of the image that reminds me of Ridley Scott's Alien. Abstract monochromatic marvellousness... now that's a phrase you don't see often! A fabulous piece of work matey.

Me too, Except Alien 3, which I didn't enjoy as much as the others. But I think Ridley's remains top dog. Enjoy your well-earned prize.

I tend to agree with your acute analysis of the MOTION PICTURE 'Prometheus.' But it doesn't really belong with the others... how can it, without Ripley??
Ridley Scott's made some brilliant films, but like all geniuses he sometimes turns out a complete bloody turkey. That one with Russel Crowe about a vineyard or something....I only lasted about 20 minutes.... couldn't stand it.
