it leaves me speechless.. whatever thoughts try to emerge are crushed by this overwhelming sense of beauty.. the vast canvass of nature and I feel I have seen too little of it.. the idea that nature can meet me and seep inside my soul in such a beautifully mysterious way.. why, a lake has been lifted up to the heights of clouds and on the way it has contracted the lumnious color of the sky.. and such divine energy even the worthless plants have contracted and they start to glow.. yet a feeling that the peace and harmony of it should not be disturbed by the oars of an aggressive soul.. a little magical fragment of this vast earth.. perhaps confined too in its assence but yet complete and free..
must be very close to heaven..
well, that was lot of talking after being speechless.. Smile

beautiful, sublime and somewhat liberating.. and as Peter says, it is one for the hospital wall..

I have been looking at this picture for a number of minutes and yes it is a peaceful and beautiful scene, but I don't mean to be devil's advocate here but the picture has been over sharpened to the extent that the green,blue and red pixels are showing quite evidently particularly from half way to the top of the picture. If you had toned the sharpening down then this picture would be improved quite markedly. As said a lovely idea.

Hasn't actually been sharpened at all. The effect you are describing was achieved by other means and was intentional.

An image most definitely worth a space on a wall. Composition colour and atmosphere in bucket loads.
