This gives a serene feeling, and would look great on an office wall, or in a hospital where the patients can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere it projects.

You never disappoint with making the ordinary - extraordinary.
Beautiful colour and I agree with Joline about this on a wall for enjoyment to many people.

it leaves me speechless.. whatever thoughts try to emerge are crushed by this overwhelming sense of beauty.. the vast canvass of nature and I feel I have seen too little of it.. the idea that nature can meet me and seep inside my soul in such a beautifully mysterious way.. why, a lake has been lifted up to the heights of clouds and on the way it has contracted the lumnious color of the sky.. and such divine energy even the worthless plants have contracted and they start to glow.. yet a feeling that the peace and harmony of it should not be disturbed by the oars of an aggressive soul.. a little magical fragment of this vast earth.. perhaps confined too in its assence but yet complete and free..
must be very close to heaven..
well, that was lot of talking after being speechless.. Smile

beautiful, sublime and somewhat liberating.. and as Peter says, it is one for the hospital wall..

Alan, this is truly wonderful. It has the feel and palette of a Turner painting. Stunning.

Magical, and all about the light. The clear, clean glow.
Moira

I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements grey,
I hear it in the deep heartís core.

Has a silvered scraper-board effect. Excellent use of the vagaries of light diffraction, fringing and abberation.

I have been looking at this picture for a number of minutes and yes it is a peaceful and beautiful scene, but I don't mean to be devil's advocate here but the picture has been over sharpened to the extent that the green, blue and red pixels are showing quite evidently particularly from half way to the top of the picture. If you had toned the sharpening down then this picture would be improved quite markedly. As said a lovely idea.
Tom.

Hasn't actually been sharpened at all. The effect you are describing was achieved by other means and was intentional.

An image most definitely worth a space on a wall. Composition colour and atmosphere in bucket loads.
It seems the lake is reflected in the sky, quite an achievement Alan.
Your photography moves on and on, restless and always appealing my friend.
