Found this photo of our town park in the depths of my hard drive.
The mood feels slightly French to me, for some reason. Hence le title.

Not sure about the French look Alan.
After their abysmal performance in the World Cup,
football has been banned and all the goal posts have been removed !!
Mick.

Nice contrast between the trees and the angularity of the goal post and fencing. As always, beautifully processed and so still and atmospheric.
Beautifully composed and elegant in it's formality Alan.

i would say a lot many treasures may be hidden there in your forgotten stuff..
your images many times nurture a mood of solitude.. absense of people in it make them so.. and if one has seen enough of them, one can assume such beauty and justice even in it.. there must be meaning in every desolate corner on a cold, foggy morning.. a lot to remember.. it appears to strengthen something inside me.. i, who have never known solitude and for most part of my life i had never imagined myself to be living alone and be content with it.. i had been in it but i have never lived it..
and this image too nurtures the same feeling.. there is an element of exploration with in the soul..

A feeling of despondency and loneliness in this one, Alan. Love the composition.
