That golden light looks like liquid pouring down the hill. Another beauty Alan.
This is an image that inspires some story telling, "The Shining" comes to mind.

The house seems to have been lifted out of a community and mysteriously transported there, in the middle of nowhere; it reminds me a bit of the Tardis landing in unlikely locations. I wonder if the occupants are aware of that weight hanging over them.
I want portrait format here. But then I often do...
