One word Alan primeval .

Agree with Rod Alan, like it a lot
"There's a long. long trail a-winding . . . "
Sorry, in full WW1 mode at the moment, couldn't help it. Though that is a bit primeval too.
Very beautiful monochrome Impressionism to conclude an inspiring trio, the three telling a story which we can follow, interpret and develop at will.
I don't think I have a favourite, I like each one best when it's in front of me.
Getting darker. The curve of the path out of sight is now quite menacing. What lies beyond? I like the effect of camera movement on the foliage at the top.
It's dark, it's drizzly, I'm there and I'm terrified!!Powerful, fabulous.
The winding path hidden slightly hidden within your choice and style of processing adds a wonderful feeling of uncertainty and makes one ask lots of questions...
Very well done as always Alan.
Thanks everybody, for such generous comments
This path curves into a very dark area, to who knows what.....
A bit of fear of the unknown & what may lie ahead with this one.
Powerful series, well done.
This looks more like a country road than the others, is that snow or just wet?
I don't feel the fear, it's more wondering what's around the corner.
It could certainly make a great book jacket for a mystery story.
A fine set Alan, textures and imagination and you've taken us along on your journey through the woods.

No Dougie, it's me messing around in Photoshop
Seems I got dragged away before I could comment... Full of mystery coupled with that trademark impressionist beauty. Nice one Alan.
A feeling of impending threat by proceeding further, very atmospheric image.
Another image so well processed that looks like the master work of an India ink artist.
Could this be a moonlit path in the dead of night?....Full of atmosphere and mystery. Another very, very good image Alan...all three are simply superb.
Brilliant! And the curves...
