Great shot, but what river is this? Si.
ps; I know it should have been "which", im not a total ilitrate.
So, you would love to know that I saw the picture and I knew it was yours.
In exchange for that confidence...Would you please tell me "whatriveristhis", please?
Beautiful Alan , i think the answer is any river you want Stunning work
Fantastic sense of movement in this very effective image.
I knew this would happen. OK. Si, Marian..... you know it doesn't matter. Rod of course has the right answer.
Hope you're enjoying your hols, Nigel.
Si...... I see you've been getting your tool out, this hot weather.
You just knew that people would ask eh! It's beautiful the movement is amazing Alan such a difficult thing to achieve and as always with your images done in style.
Cheers Mark- you doing well this week boyo.
Aha - a real photo on film, not a virtual one on a wish and a prayer.
I'll imagine it's the Volga, because the water is rushin'.
Behold the birth of an abstract artist. Looks like an expressive drawing, white pencil on black paper. Nice.
A great abstract Alan, like the slash of white will have to dust of the Bronnie and fire it up!!!!!
Cheers, Bill. Some might think it looks a bit Weard.
Linda. Birth- naah, they always reckoned I was quarried.
Thanks Cliff. Trouble is, those boxes cost a lot to run.
All that dark depth below the wave again. A logical sequence is taking shape.
I never was a fan of Velvia but this is subtle.
Beware of Bill's sense of humour, it carries like a bird flu.
Born? Quarried? Diabolically created in a laboratory?

This is probably the last one though.
Bill has a sense of humour?........hadn't really noticed.

It's experiment that moves us forward, Moira.
Impressive and imaginative impressionistic imagery
A pretty nifty capture, one-handed whist water skiing. Impressive.

no problem for such as me. Had to rotate the image 180degs in PS cos I was doing a headstand on the ski at the time and playing a ukelele. ( with my teeth, like Jimi )
P.S. You're wrong about the whist though. Always preferred Canasta.
I don't care what river it is....I just love the movement in the water and the lovely tones. Another striking capture that holds your interest and actually makes you look. Nice one Alan.
Thanks Charlotte......hey you might soon be famous!
The white part is almost feather-like, makes a great abstract
It does it for me Alan, and gets my vote.great abstract.
sorry Alan. sorted now
