These are really beautiful Alan. And very unlike your usual style. I love the treatment you have given them. I especially like #2 although the lighting makes the verticals appear wonky (I know they're not really).

Thanks Erica. Verticals- that pot has a mind of its own, depending on which way you turn it Smile
The harder shadow line at the top is from a picture frame which is propped at an angle, hence not vertical.

Isn't it amazing what light can do to shapes... Three fab images Alan, v1 is glorious but for me the mystery of v3 gets the vote. A wonderful departure from your usual images.

Superb textures (and the colour in V1 is fine too, rather lovely in fact, so I'm sure all three would please in both colour and monochrome).
V3 for me . . . I think . . .

Three superb still life images, Alan. I am torn between v1 and v2 but I think the lighting, tones and strength of v2 wins the day for me.

Such a departure, not at all what I'd expect from you Alan. It's good to be unpredictable! Nice one.

A really difficult choice. V1 is conventional but its a toss up between v2 and v3. Can't make my mind up between 'em....

V2 is very strong to my eye - graphic, strong contrasts and shapes. V1 is lovely.

v1 is my favourite - love that gentle light top left, and the space between the pot and stones works well SmileSmile
