prefer these viewed small
These are really beautiful Alan. And very unlike your usual style. I love the treatment you have given them. I especially like #2 although the lighting makes the verticals appear wonky (I know they're not really).
Thanks Erica. Verticals- that pot has a mind of its own, depending on which way you turn it
The harder shadow line at the top is from a picture frame which is propped at an angle, hence not vertical.

Really beautiful Alan and very unlike yer recent stuff . V1 is glorious V2 is w ............ na a cannae say the w word lol
Isn't it amazing what light can do to shapes... Three fab images Alan, v1 is glorious but for me the mystery of v3 gets the vote. A wonderful departure from your usual images.

... see explanation above, dear boy.

... great minds think alike though sometimes I prefer V1
Thanks both, glad you like them, I wasn't sure how they'd go
Superb textures (and the colour in V1 is fine too, rather lovely in fact, so I'm sure all three would please in both colour and monochrome).
V3 for me . . . I think . . .
Many thanks, Bill
Beautifully composed with lovely tones and colours (in V1)
I find V2 very strong too.
I did see the explanation to why yer image (V2) is wonky oops sorry APPEARS WONKY . Just like tae steer ye up lol Lovely texture on all three images. Nice one
Three superb still life images, Alan. I am torn between v1 and v2 but I think the lighting, tones and strength of v2 wins the day for me.
Rende, Nigel- thanks.
3 great images, can only agree with all the comments, V2 for me has the edge
Such a departure, not at all what I'd expect from you Alan. It's good to be unpredictable! Nice one.

You said it Linda. Thanks
A really difficult choice. V1 is conventional but its a toss up between v2 and v3. Can't make my mind up between 'em....
thanks ann. ... have just been admiring your strawberry jam shot
V2 is very strong to my eye - graphic, strong contrasts and shapes. V1 is lovely.
v1 is my favourite - love that gentle light top left, and the space between the pot and stones works well
Thanks Helen. Much appreciated.
