I was going to say it was a superb use of negative space but there's so much going on in it, by way of texture and colour, it can hardly be labelled 'negative'.

Technical aspects- they look after themselves. Or not. In my own stuff it's not something I think about very much, most of the time I just take photographs.
Negative space? ....well... not really, like Dave said there's too much going on, but it's sort of heading in that direction.
If anyone likes it, that's all that matters, that's the bottom line.

True Alan , though the bottom line is if you like it GrinGrinTongue . One of my fotaes was labelled negative space by someone , think it wis wee dug big country and i didnae ken (and still don't really) what the guy really meant. To be fair Alan the technicalities are probably second nature tae you whereas us mortals (drunk again) need to constantly think aboot them.
