Swimming under an abstract painting. Do they allow swans in art galleries?
Quote: Swimming under an abstract painting. Do they allow swans in art galleries?
no but you do see people swanning about
...and of course there's the famous mechanical one in the Bowes Museum
Excellent composition, use of light and reflections.
I was going to say it was a superb use of negative space but there's so much going on in it, by way of texture and colour, it can hardly be labelled 'negative'.
Cheers Dave. ( Got to admit, nothing would part me from my Benbo, even if it is languishing in a corner, gathering dust. I still love it. )
Beautiful reflections from the foliage. Love the minimalism Alan. Gorgeous.
Thanks Charlotte. Arse not in gear yet? .....Come on!!!
Reality and abstractedness merged beautifully in one frame.
its all been said above ,lots to enjoy and learn from..Breaking all the rules to great effect. it definitely gets the juices going. superb.
Ma bro likes it anyways Is this yon negative space i have heard so much aboot No sure about the technical aspects but i do find it inspiring Nice one
Technical aspects- they look after themselves. Or not. In my own stuff it's not something I think about very much, most of the time I just take photographs.
Negative space? ....well... not really, like Dave said there's too much going on, but it's sort of heading in that direction.
If anyone likes it, that's all that matters, that's the bottom line.
True Alan , though the bottom line is if you like it . One of my fotaes was labelled negative space by someone , think it wis wee dug big country and i didnae ken (and still don't really) what the guy really meant. To be fair Alan the technicalities are probably second nature tae you whereas us mortals (drunk again) need to constantly think aboot them.
Its hard being me lol
Take it easy Rod, it's bloody hard being anybody.
Daring and humorous composition. What river is this?
Whatriveristhis .....Not a river! Studely Royal Water Gardens ( Fountains Abbey, North Yorkshire )
