Thank you for your votes, comments, and honest opinions on "Seaham." Very much appreciated.
Great Alan, like this a lot
An other well created bit of art Alan
I don't know what you are doing processing-wise but it works.
This is really beautiful Alan. I like the texturing. Have you purposely left a slight darker area in the middle of the picture to allow the eye a way through?
Simple compositions like this are the best basis for the treatment.
At least that's what I think I mean.
The composition is in fact very strong with its layered landscape and the putative vanishing point dependent on the hedge line(s).
This treatment gives this image a real gritty wild feel. Liking it a lot Alan
D'ya know, I could get RSI clicking on your images ... You've definitely got this painterly treatment off to a fine art and I'm truly enjoying viewing the results.
Your going to have to come down here and give me lessons Alan. Another sublime piece of work.

Not always entirely sure myself, to be honest. That's part of the fun.

No... Happy accident
Impressive again, Alan. Whatever you do keep doing.
Your processing has turned this 'simple scene' into a piece of art.
Skillfully handled, although I would have liked the vertical line to the left of the tree to be softened. A moody image.
Very effective, I'm beginning to think you should have been a painter.... glorious series so far and this is no exception.
like the composition and the processing - well done
Lovely artsy processing.
beautiful image.. like a very old, crumpled painting.. because of it it feels like something to treasure..
this too is something in which one can be lost..
Your faffing has given me inspiration Alan.......
I used to faff a lot before my epz days, not as much now.......but over the last few days I have faffed rather a bit...
Maybe I will be brave and upload one.......maybe
Great stuff......did I miss one yesterday....have to look
perfect. i really love this one. =)
Impressive composition and processing!
Even though you don't know what you're doing processing-wise, Alan, keep doing it!
These have been a joy to view.
Malc (who hasn't the foggiest about what he does)
Simple composition and very effective processing, very pleased to make this 30.
Another piece of art! Just beautiful.
Fragile and delicate like a piece of vintage lace. Stunning Alan.
Great textures and colours Alan; I love this, could be a beautiful etching.
beautifully worked Alan, really clever stuff, the kind of shot you can get lost in
