Maybe it's just me, but I often find fairgrounds slightly disquieting, in a way I can't really define.... Ray Bradbury's novel "Something Wicked This Way Comes".......
Like I said, maybe just me, but this image has that feel. It's to do with the processing. Orton filter, by any chance?

That is exactly the feel that I had and wanted to bring across - it was an unsettling roundabout - just too over-the-top or something. I've given it an Orton-esque bit of blur and a few other tweeks...
