Strathspey Steam Railway - Broomhill

Last week I was in Aviemore on holiday. I was rudely awoken by family one morning. It was nice day outside so I decided to go a get some shots of the chuff chuffs in the beautiful morning light. When I arrived at the station, I was disheartened that the engine was puling the carriage from its front. Not making a particularly nice shot. One of the engine drivers came over and recommended I get to the Broomhill station as it changes to pull the carriage like the pic above. I checked the time table and decided to get there after lunch. I was quite pleased with some of the shots I got! One of my favorites is the above.

If anyone is in the area I really recommend visiting! The crew are very helpful and friendly!
