I don't think I've ever shot a race in so much rain. This was the British Time Trials Championships, held on 4th September 2011 and this was the weather. I spent the whole afternoon in the boot of the car.

Thanks Patrick, don't think any of us looked very happy in that rain. At least I was partly covered in the boot of the car.

Excellent shot and focusing, i even like the valve positioning. Looks like he didn't want to smile for the camera Wink

Not many were smiling Stuart Smile Some of them were looking at the camera with desperation in their eyes.

Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for the HC Pete, that's nearly made it worthwhile spending all that time getting soaked Grin

A worthy award Sarah, looks like a pretty miserable day though.

The morning was ok for the Masters event, but the poor Juniors, Espoirs & Ladies had it the worst, as did the first of the Senior Men. I do like the shots though as they are a bit different to my normal.

Thanks Stevie & thanks Ian. Poor lad, his face was a picture. I might post some up from the rest of the day as there were some good riders out.

Perfect timing there Susan, with his position on the bike and the valve placement and spot on shutter speed.
Congratulations on the H(ot)C(offee) Wink
Cheers, Goggz

Thanks Goggz, I'd not even noticed the valve position until it was commented on Smile I was too busy trying to get sharp shots through the rain.
