Kings Cross Station and the new concourse. I don't think we've had this angle yet. Despite the windows it's not that light and a wide angle is a must. Iso 2000, 1/400s, f16, 10mm, handheld.

v1 is my preferred colour version.
v2 mono
v3 is just to show you where I took the main image from, behind where the lattice meets the ground.

Many thanks to Mark, John, Nathan and Alan for their UAs on my last, and to everyone who looked or commented - thankyou.

Another brolly day again today, stay dry folks,

Dave

Yes, V 1 for me too, Dave.
Your 7D coping here with such high ISO setting admirably.
Love the symmetry achieved also in V 1 and you have coped with the varying light levels so well.
Interesting to see V 3.......quite different to when I was last through Kings Cross.

Symmetry with a giraffe to break its cold perfection - beautiful and quirky at the same time.
V2 is a good conversion, but this needs colour for me.

Not an angle I have seen used before. V1 is better though the b&w is very effective for its purer graphic nature. And I do like your overview in V3.

Great set of images Dave. I like your vision in seeking out the geometric abstract. In that context I think V2 works better to show the symmetry and the reductive power of B&W also complements the minimalism.
