Kings Cross Station and the new concourse. I don't think we've had this angle yet. Despite the windows it's not that light and a wide angle is a must. Iso 2000, 1/400s, f16, 10mm, handheld.
v1 is my preferred colour version.
v2 mono
v3 is just to show you where I took the main image from, behind where the lattice meets the ground.
Many thanks to Mark, John, Nathan and Alan for their UAs on my last, and to everyone who looked or commented - thankyou.
Another brolly day again today, stay dry folks,
Dave

yes!! V1 rings all the bells for me
But glad you included the other two
All good like the rail in V3 sweeping into the image, but V2 the mono has something
V 3 is fantastic, but the right balance is maintained in V 1.
Yes, V 1 for me too, Dave.
Your 7D coping here with such high ISO setting admirably.
Love the symmetry achieved also in V 1 and you have coped with the varying light levels so well.
Interesting to see V 3.......quite different to when I was last through Kings Cross.
Ronnie.
Symmetry with a giraffe to break its cold perfection - beautiful and quirky at the same time.
V2 is a good conversion, but this needs colour for me.
Moira
Not an angle I have seen used before. V1 is better though the b&w is very effective for its purer graphic nature. And I do like your overview in V3.
Regards
Bill
I have been doing B & W photography for long so I naturally prefer mono .. V2, Dave. The tonal gradation and tonal range in V2 is outstanding. Deep
V1 for me today the colour has more impact for me
Graham
Happy new week
V1 for me also Dave, excellent composed abstract image.
Regards
Trev.
Super set of images, beautifully captured, V1 has to be my favourite.
Hugh
A fantastic symmetrical shape. The colour put the
cream on V1 for me. Well done. WesternRed.
A great composition and capture...and definitely V1 for me! ![]()

Nice set Dave but personal fav is V1. Fantastic viewpoint. Very good image indeed
Mark
Nice to see you using the Siggy. High ISO but no noticeable noise. Well composed and the positioning of the structure in the crop positioned perfectly. Great shot. Regards
Well composed abstract Dave. The mono is my favourite. I must take a diversion from St pancras next time I am in town and take a look at the new concourse.
Derek
great pov the result is amazing - like all the shots V1 best
V1 for me today. Love the colour glow.. Excellent pov lending to an abstract shot.. V2 a very close second.. Super set
Excellent shots, like them all. V1 has the edge..Lin
Dave, nice set, mono for me here, very much like the tones of the black against white...........
Paul.
Cracking images Dave, luv the patterns and very striking, a well spotted image, v1 works really well, v2 is a wonderful image in black and white but feel with a little bit more work either on processing or a retake with black and white in mind, this could be a stunning image. Well done Dave.
