Is this rust I see before me, or just a shadow of my imagination? Not much to say about this one, it's a large metal planter in the coach park at the Floriade Flower Show in Venlo, Netherlands. (Roest, by the way, is Dutch Rust!!)
Hand held, 1/160s, f7.1, Iso200, 53mm.
Many thanks for all your comments at my previous attempts at flora photography.

Well seen and captured Dave. A different one. The feeling of movement. Deep
I love the inclusion of the flower, it's so quirky! But there's a different, more enigmatic picture lurking in this if you crop off the top.

It's different takes some looking at I find the bottom very interesting something in there for sure captures the imagination .

Love the composition with all those diagonals. Without the actual flower those shadows could start to look sinister!

Nice little flower in the corner.
Well done. WesternRed.
With the inclusion of the flower you know at once what the shadows are, the texture and composition are first class Dave.

Trev.

Minimal details ... Great impact.. Shadow Intriguing...
I really like this Dave. The placement of the flower works almost like a spotlight drawing our attention to the intriguing shadow shapes and the texture of the rusty metal.
Derek
Great use of the flower, it just gives that small splash of colour and also gives the viewer a hint as to what is making the shadows.
