Comments
No staking out or hiding required and no need for excessively high powered lens. This heron has become so used to people that you can get very close without it flying off. Shot this with a nasty Kodak P850Z with its 12x optical zoom. Only thing done afterward was a bit of cropping to the frame I wanted and a wee bit of up with the contrast (de-kodaking the shot!).
