I know the feeling but the weathers no helpin
Eric
Indeed I was Rod (sorry 'bout that!)
I started riding bikes when I was sixteen; you could ride 'proper' ones as a learner in those days, not that I was a learner for very long.
By the time I was eighteen I was racing the things most weekends and getting drunk with my likeminded mates on the weekends when I wasn't!
I was that keen on bikes that I've never learnt to (legally) drive a car.
I rode bikes until about twenty years ago when marriage and all that goes with it put and end to it.
That and sixteen points on my licence.
. . . well, yes. Although not as big as this guy's!
I also had chest length hair and if we were going somewhere special, a party perhaps, my girlfriend used to weave a narrow plait down each side of my face; think 'Blackbeard the pirate.'
These were eventually dyed blond, then various colours!
That was about 1974. At the time, I looked quite normal.
Cheers Leon if you get a wee smile or laugh at my fotaes thats magic
