Aye nice set o pics son. ye need tae take me their next time i am doon. is it held at thornton??
Split second timing must be hellish hard for something like that. Pretty damn good shot though Rod! ....wonder if setting your camera to "Burst" might get you something even better, give you a few frames to choose from? .......but maybe you did!
No i didn't Alan , but next time maybe . TBH (now don't shout noo) i consider that cheating a wee bit like fly fishing wi mair than wan flea on the line...........but that's just me lol. Next time i will get a better one
No Kenny , Kirkcaldy . Randolph playing fields up at the top o the toon boozer It's on most Saturdays the boy said so when yer doon we could do it. Its good fun cos its so quick

A great action image Rod, those dogs are fast!!!!
Superb timing - Good image!!
'Kaboom' a wonderful example of onamaterpier, and such a great title for this superbly explosive and well timed capture Rod.
Hi Rod, No far aff whit a suggested. The pose o dug 1 is spot on Well done ma man.
Interestin Kenny talkin about Thornton dug track that must be a hoosing estate noo? an it was aye fur the big guys nae fur the amateur stuff.
Keep thum comin Rod.
Getting there Rod.!! Don't worry about using the burst, all sport photographers use it to get the peak of the action.
When I am doing the dogs , I use shutter speed of 1500 upwards depending on the light, it stops them dead!!
Another great effort Rod,
Great series...learning lots too
You've caught dog #1 perfectly, Rod, like a coiled spring about to release all its energy.
Did my dog #2 win? Haven't received any winnings yet.
