Trying to get to grips with my new camera struggling a bit with under exposure on manual mode ! Quite liked this image and the sentiment then realised it was squint doh!!!

A perfectly good record that does have slight lean. Not sure about mono for this type of thing unless the lighting is dramatic. Not sure why you are under exposing on manual - not using the steering system correctly? Manual needs to be used with care, but studying the LED after a test shot should tell you what you need to know.
If time allows, then the historian feature is even better and if you are serious about using manual, then a separate hand meter with an incident light attachment is the way to go. Second hand ones are about or a new one will cost quite a bit, 130 pounds minimum but the results will be very accurate.

I don't know why you chose B&W for this as it wouldn't really change the colour of the tower. In colour I feel the composition would be improved by the tower being off centre and balanced, in colour, by one or two of the trees around the area, rather than being right in front of one in monochrome.
I feel perhaps that it is a little tight in the frame, so maybe that could be improved in my suggested composition.
