I saw the thumbnail and new it was yours. out all day working so bed time, will write more tomorrow
Stunning landscape - less is so much more in this image. I really like the mono tones and letterbox presentation.
Fantastic. Seriously. I'd be proud to have that in my PF, it's bloody perfect. Nothing more to be said.
Great image, Rod. The simple horizontal layers of tones and textures work really well and the positioning of the power station is compositionally excellent. Good processing too.
a cracker roddy.nice gritty processing. a bit of a signature shot for ye. i think ye hiv been learnin a bit fae Alan.
Nicely framed beautiful mono. Super!
Well presented, love the comp, a cracking mage! well done Rod.
A suitably long composition, given the place name...
Effective. All about long streaks of light through grainy greys. I was going to be awkward (what, moi?) and suggest that this might need 1 degree rotation clockwise, but I'm pretty sure it's right. Light can play funny tricks.
naw Moira its only .2 degrees out so for me who is normally 2.4 degrees out this is one the money good one Rod
A great mono Rod like the simplesity
A wonderfully gritty industrial landscape which I am a great fan of.
Cheers everyone for all the great comments
A powerful image, Rod, luv your treatment and processing, the grainy feel and crop in black and white is awesome.
Well done. ( just needed a gas mask and nuclear explosion,) LOL.
A cracking shot my friend,
I love this, it's outstanding, and would've given it a UA, but you got mine yesterday.... so I gave it to Mark because he's really gone out on a limb and it's worked. Wish I could give more than one a day.
Nae probs Alan yer words are as good as a UA min cheers neebs Thanks again
A classic composition and the graininess fits the image well.
A dinae ken how a missed this yin but I agree its a stoter. As ye ken am in tae B+W and the shades and tones n this is really good
If a hid tae pick on sumthin its the grain is a bit too heavy but thats personal and a still think its magic.
10/10 an a UA fur yer efforts.
Cheers Eric , grain is guid my man
great use of grain and texture. love the crop, lovely image.
Morning shipmate, I'm sorry I've not kept up. This is fantastic the perfect composition, very well processed. I think someone called it Awesome... They were right!
Love the letterbox format, works really well. Happy to be No.30
