Aye it's those bloody windmills again
Nice image Rod, like the misty look, are you trying to disguise them?
Like the various contrasts between the wind turbines and pine trees.
Nice composition!! Nice image!! I like it a lot!!
No Cliff just crap weather
Rod, crap weather that's produced a nice effect. Like layering between the dark tones of the trees and all the way through to those faint clouds........I like it mate.
Nice to see you are still roamin in the gloamin
No wonder the fog is hanging over us...all those damn wind machines blowing the Scottish Mist to Ireland!!!
A skyline we will have to get used to ! A great image Rod !
Works for me - excellent!
Great shot with nice contrast, Rod! I took a lot of those yesterday. They were on a hill just behind an abandoned village, but I was too close to them.
Yeah Jeff we like tae export "stuff" across the watter lol
I like the mistiness. Is that 3 white elephants in the distance?
If there are the ones out to sea, er, you have a slopi............
Man v Nature... wonder who'll win.... and those that complain about wind turbines - think of the alternative..... fracking!!
Dinnae start that one again Jack !!!!
Never mind, Rod, it's a fracking good image.
The in-focus trees, overshadowed by the oof windmills, like giant ghosts in the distance. A giant threat shrouded in mystery.
Imposing structures well captured.
On yersel Malcy boy , very poetic
You got a good image out of tricky photographic conditions here, Rod.
Love them or hate them, this works a treat
I like them and I like this very much nae bad at all laddie misty atmospheric and very pleasing
Quote: Rod, crap weather that's produced a nice effect. Like layering between the dark tones of the trees and all the way through to those faint clouds........I like it mate.
And I like it as well Rod! I particularly like the upward horizon. I like this image very much.
Interesting contrast between foreground and background. Nicely done Rod.
Very clever juxtoposition of trees and tubines. Whenever I see these I wonder what people said years ago about the old windmills we treasure today. Blot on the landscape, they'll shred all the birds, etc.
Good shot well seen. Si.
PS; your horizon's pissed.
Suppose its all in the name of progress Si
If i look drunk , iam drunk.
If i look sad iam.
If i look broke , iam broke
Just a broke down piece of man.
So if my horizons pissed Si , so am i neebs
An interesting image Rod, superbly captured, with the contrast between turbines and trees.
Loved by some...detested by others
I am in the later!
But you have captured them sympathetically
Great choice of lens to compress the perspective Rod, more landscapes should be done with long lenses.
Now that i have one Trev will do
Great use of focal length here, a nice image, different from the norm.
Great contrast between the contrast of the windmills and the trees
Really great contrast and framing/composition, subject matter looks great with the stark trees, mist and cloud. well done, Rod........................your sassenach friend.
Excellent scene and capture
Simple and effective composition.
