Cable Beach, Broome Australia, is renowned as one of the most stunning beaches in the world, with twenty-two kilometres of pristine white sands fringing the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Washed clean every day by tides that can reach over nine metres, Cable Beach provides the ideal safe environment for swimming and relaxation. Cable Beach takes its name from the telegraph cable that was laid between Broome and Java in 1889 and today it provides the perfect location to enjoy the magnificent Broome sunsets. For a really unique experience you can join the sunset camel rides that operate daily along the beach

Would recognise this anywhere - not many places in the world this shot could be taken - just superb...Jo
That is an absolutely awesome photo! Travel photography at its very best, you could earn yourself a few pounds with a travel pic that good. I wish I'd taken it!
Enter it into a few competitions (if you haven't done so already), you could receive a few prizes!
More than worthy of an Andrew Hurley gold disc award.
Andrew.
What a gorgeous sunset. The camels' silhouettes and reflections make this image unique.
very soon, I hope to have just as a great sunset when in Broome.

Quote: Yeah really like this in general. Only niggle re comp would be that the sun is very central.
Paul
I agree the sun is central, but just look at the response this has had. This would still do well in any suitable competition, the central sun breaks the rules, but it's such a strong image, it doesn't really matter!
