Shot this image of buster in b/w.i like it i know the back ground is no good but i dont relly know how to use touch tools yet,so i guess its staying like this,hope you like it,please feel free to comment as i could use the help.

a nice shot of the pooch, you have many options for the background, best bet is to try to imrpove through the camera, that is easiest. If that is not an options, google photoshop or Paint shop pro (depending on what you use) tuorials, you'll find many that can be of help to you.

Very nice dog portrait. A lot of times I use a piece of black velvet fabric hung on the wall for a b/g. Keep your subject a bit a way from the fabric so as not to pick up on the texture of the fabric. Hope this helps..

It's a great portrait of Buster. The background isn't bothering me much - the dof is pretty good,there's only something detracting in the upper right. He's shown in his home environment. Works for me.

Great shot of buster but you're right, getting rid of the background would have been better. I'm sure there will be more shots of buster to come.
