Shot taken during a recent gorgeous sunset. I tried to capture a sense of movement of the incoming tide. Would appreciate any comments.
Exposure: 1/4 sec @ f22

so many good shots today already, this is certainly one of them too IMHO, excellent colours, details and exposure
A nice seascape. It's shame you did not use the polariser to remove the wet water/reflections on the foreground rock as this is distracting. Otherwise it's a cracking shot and a very good effort! Good use of ND grad filter or am I mistaken...
Absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for your comments yesterday. Your seaside shots are all superb.
Nicely composed with good timing. Nice to see that you used the sunset, rather than try to fill the frame with it.
Atmospheric shot. Click
great exposure, great shot
Thanks for your great comments.
Olivier: I went out and forgot all my filters so couldn't do anything about it. I took two seperate exposures and combined them in CS afterwards to retain detail in the sky.
Beautiful shot with nice muted colours...so I uploaded a mod to fix that
Thanks for letting me play.
Beautiful shot - love the foreground and colours.
The lighting is fantastic. The movement in the water is great. Did you get your feet wet?
Lovely I'm guessing, though, that you didn't use any Lee/Cokin filters to darken the sky? You might have got more detail in the rest of the shot if you did. I'm not sure if that would have made it better, but I'd have been interested in the comparison..
WOW,this is amazing Tony.I love the capture of the water,it looks so smooth, yet theres so much detail and light in the surroundings.Perfect.
Looks great to me.
Liked this but not the rock in the FG. Had a play with it. click. John
Great PS work to retain both the highlights and shadows. A great image overall. Love the movement in the water.
The rock makes it.
Lovely shot and comp, Tony. Click
Great shutter speed, lovely light and colour. Well done.
Great capture Tony, full marks for not shooting the sunset, but getting the wonderful colour of it reflected on everything else !
Great light on the rocks, well done
This is superb. I love the effect of the blured water contrasting with the rocks.
Superb work Tony, like it as it is.
A lovely photo, well taken.
This really is a wonderful piece of work. Beautifully done
lovely colour and lighting, very gramatic
Loads of interest here. The lighting to the left of the shot is incredible.
